The demise of the German automotive industry

They simply fucked up with the diesel cars.
They invested too much in internal combustion engines which have reached the maximum possible level of efficiency. which is in any case LOW with respect to an electric engine. Yes, some further improvements are still possible, but the technology is what it is.

The demise of Volkswagen is called Tesla.

Period.

VW have now changed their CEO. They have to face not only technology challenges (switching from ICE to electric motor) but labour reorganization.

They are doomed.

They are years behind Tesla, when it comes to two major technology areas"

Battery management electronics
Artificial intelligence of autonomous driving

They started from scratch, with a clean paper sheet.

They do not suffer from 100 year legacy.

And this is just the beginning. Tesla is NOT an automaker only, it designs, manufacturers and sells a whole new ecosystem. Pruduction, distribution, storage of energy.

I think I have to run some analyses on what companies that design new photovoltaic cells could be purchased in the future by Tesla for their solar roofs, which still need spend lots of effort in improving the installation costs.

Well, I am digressing now.

I do believe that Central Banks cannot print all the money needed to run Countries'deficits forever: the Stock Market will undergo a severe correction.
